Cheap Gluten Intolerance Test
This is probably the easiest and CHEAPEST way to know if you’re allergic to gluten or not
When people ask me how did I know that I’m allergic to gluten? my answer is this:
Since I was a little girl, I had problems with Swollen Lymph Nodes, mouth ulcers, constant headaches, pain in joints, chicken skin, gaining weight (unable to lose weight), constantly feeling bloated and acne. Those were the issues that were bothering me for very long time. Many doctors said that there is no cure for swollen lymph nodes and mouth ulcers and that there is nothing to do about that, which is a great issue since swollen lymph nodes can become very dangerous to my health, they can cause lymph nodes cancer.
Gluten Intolerance Symptoms:
Digestive symptoms are more common in infants and children. Here are the most common symptoms found in children:
- abdominal bloating and pain
- chronic diarrhea
- pale, foul-smelling, or fatty stool
- weight loss
- irritability and behavioral issues
- dental enamel defects of the permanent teeth
- delayed growth and puberty
- short stature
- failure to thrive
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Adults are less likely to have digestive symptoms, with only one-third experiencing diarrhea. Adults are more likely to have:
unexplained iron-deficiency anemia
bone or joint pain
osteoporosis or osteopenia (bone loss)
- liver and biliary tract disorders (transaminitis, fatty liver, primary sclerosing cholangitis, etc.)
depression or anxiety
peripheral neuropathy ( tingling, numbness or pain in the hands and feet)
seizures or migraines
missed menstrual periods
infertility or recurrent miscarriage
canker sores inside the mouth
dermatitis herpetiformis (itchy skin rash)
This is the simple way to test for gluten intolerance
As I was researching the internet, there were few topics how a gluten free diet can solve all my problems. I researched a bit more about gluten free diet, simple enough… all I had to do is pay attention to wheat containing products and other gluten substances. It took around 1 month to get used to the new way of eating. On the other hand, I started to feel much much better. It took 3 months to start feeling the changes in my body.
After 3 months of really paying attention to what you eat, STOP! This is the test to see if you are allergic or not. For 1 week eat a lot of gluten containing products. This will create a shock for your stomach and will tell you whether you can eat gluten or not. If you feel bloated, if you feel pain in your stomach, have problems with digestion, if your immune system drops… then I advise you to consult with your doctor, because you are probably intolerant to gluten containing products.
Please contact me if you need any help with this. I strongly recommend this “test” even if you’re not reacting to gluten at all.
